Leo OrtEL

Hello! My name is Leo Ortel and I’m a 3rd year student at Spring Arbor University studying Advertising and Public Relations with a minor in Digital Media – Broadcasting.

On campus, I work for the Cougar Sports Network doing broadcasting for the sports games, which includes traveling with the baseball team in the spring. I also work for Home.fm and the student radio station.

This past summer, I interned for the United Shore Professional Baseball League in Utica to further my career aspirations.

My favorite hobbies include watching and playing sports, listening to and playing music, and boating in the summertime.

I am choosing to blog about Major League Baseball because it is one of my biggest passions. Ever since I was a kid, I have loved watching baseball and cheering for the Detroit Tigers.

I have also traveled to 19 Major League stadiums and 3 Spring Training facilities throughout the United States.
